In the first week we had an assembly and introduced all the new people to our school and Mrs Muirhead. Mrs Muirhead is our new school principal. She has started off as a nice and caring principal. We had a visitor come and talk about Korean writing and taught us how to do our name in Korean language.

We did swimming in week 4. I was in the highest group and in the highest group we did 4 laps each day and it was tiring but I learnt a lot from swimming and I’ve become a better swimmer. We also did our year 7 School Captain’s speech and I didn’t get to be a School Captain but I got House Captain for McLeod and I got on the SAT ( Student Action Team).

The year has been a fun year so far.

The end of the 2nd term is here and we have done lots of fun stuff. We made honey logs with Harry and we made TimTam cheese cake and we ate one of the honey logs. We shared with the other class. And then we made TimTam cheese cake. And we got to eat it at the end of the day and it tasted really good.

We went to SAPSASA footy and we won all the games. The ball bent my finger back and it hurt. In P.E we did basketball and we did drills and we did games at the last basketball session. We did hockey as well and we also did a big game at the last session with Jim Hunt and Crystal.

We read a book called Boy Overboard and it was a very good book and it was telling us about the harsh conditions in Afghanistan, also how girls can’t go outside on their own or go to school.

We also did a math investigation and it was about a road trip around Australia. I’m finished most of it and the year 7s did something else. Also I did a scratch game and the shark tries to eat the fish and the diver is holding it back.
